Naked Strewth Charity Calendar
The best of the Naked Strewth is FREE with the January issue of The Field.

The Naked Strewth charity calendar encompasses bosoms and bottoms from field to far afield. Each month a plethora of the sporting and scantily clad send in the best of their barely clad efforts to Field Towers. It has become an something of an institution. Much like the British fascination with the weather, there is an equal fascination among the country dweller to disrobe at the drop of a hat. It must have something to do with the rural bonkbuster and all it entails. Follow me? Yes please, Master.

Bottoms are bared without a blush and décolletages exposed, and Air Ambulances throughout the Shires are kept flying for another year. The Field’s Naked Strewth charity calendar 2017 pays homage to the pick of this year’s naked charity calendar crop. You can find your copy FREE with every January 2017 issue of The Field.

If you are keen to subscribe, don’t miss this week’s Christmas deal, subscribe to your favourite magazines for under £20.

Cambridge RAG are a discerning crowd. The best money raiser? Cambridge's best bottoms, of course

Cambridge Blues naked charity calendar 2017
Blues, brains and bottoms - the Cambridge crowd are a sporting bunch.

What better way to raise money for RAG than by exposing the Blues’ best bottoms? The Cambridge Blues naked charity calendar 2017 is brand new this year. And it’s brimming with sultry swimmers, foxy footballers and teasing tennis players. All in aid of two cracking causes, the Lewy Body Society and Help Refugees. Athletes have never been so sporting.

Cambridge Blues may be new to the naked calendar scene, but for other universities they are tradition. For Glasgow’s game graduates, dispensing with their overalls is a  rite of passage for fourth year vet students. There’s no length this charitable crowd won’t go to help poorly critters. The Glasgow University Vet Students naked charity calendar 2017 is proof.

And the fondness of removing clothes for a good cause is quintessentially British. But that hasn’t stopped the Naked Strewth from going international. The University of Sydney’s vet students have been demonstrating how to raise funds Brit style for over thirty years. Of course, the After Hours naked charity calendar 2016 didn’t disappoint.

CAMBRIDGE BLUES NAKED CHARITY CALENDAR 2017

Cambridge know how to employ their best bottoms properly. The university’s athletes may be excellent on the football pitch or balance beam, but they are even better for charitable concerns.

“We decided we wanted to start a new fundraiser – and what better way than by making money for charity out of the iconic Cambridge architecture and the university’s best athletes,” said Cambridge RAG member and calendar organiser Rowenna McGill. “The calendar took almost a year and a half to make and features 12 of Cambridge’s best sports teams posing naked in iconic places around Cambridge.”

The calendar may have been long in the making but with two cracking causes to champion, the hard work was certainly worthwhile. All profits will go directly to two charities selected by the students. The Lewy Body Society is carrying out vital research into Dementia with Lewy Bodies and raising awareness of this little known disease. And Help Refugees gathers and distributes funds and aid for refugees.

So stand with Cambridge’s sporting students and support these worthy charities. Simply make a donation to The Lewy Body Society and Help Refugees. Or purchase a calendar – they make an excellent stocking stuffer. The Cambridge Blues naked charity calendar 2017 costs £10, plus p&p and is available from their website. The Field has contributed to both causes.

Taking the risk of giving passing dog walkers an eyeful, the charitable young farmers of Leicester and Rutland dispensed with their overalls to keep the Air Ambulance flying

LRFYFC Naked Calendar
More tea, Vicar?

With the help of a few strategically placed straw bales, farming implements and teatime treats, a group of daring young farmers have released the LRFYFC naked charity calendar 2017. The Leicester and Rutland Federation of Young Farmers Clubs are a game bunch. Even when having to request passing dog walkers kindly avert their eyes. And all to keep the Air Ambulance Service airborne.

Going sans kit is a popular fundraising bid in the field. And more often than not the Air Ambulance Service is the charity of choice. Every true Fielder knows the realities of life in the field that make their services necessity.

A fall from her horse left Georgie Fenn requiring assistance from the Air Ambulance. And the realisation a week later in hospital that they rely solely on donations brought about the Around the Farm naked charity calendar 2016. One of the most popular calendars to ever run in The Field, Around the Farm is brimming with a bevy of derrières and delectable damsels.

LRFYFC NAKED CHARITY CALENDAR 2017

It’s not just the hunting and shooting crowd willing to disrobe for a cracking cause. The LRFYFC naked charity calendar 2017 saw a daring bunch of younger farmers dispense with their overalls for the Air Ambulance Service. Never has supporting our farmers been so frisky and fun.

LRFYFC County Chairman, Katy Kirkham, who joined her members and went sans kit for the camera, said “we had so much fun creating the calendar and we certainly saw a different side to each other in more ways than one. At one point, I had to apologise to a few passing dog walkers for the nudity, but to be honest I think we made their day!”

She added, “a lot of our members work on farms in the middle of nowhere and often nobody but the Air Ambulance can reach them. Each year they need to raise thousands to keep them in the air so we thought it was a charity that we wanted to support”.

THE AIR AMBULANCE SERVICE

The Air Ambulance Service fly two regional air ambulances across the counties of Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland. These two helicopters provide a rapid response to trauma and medical emergencies over an area of 3850 square miles covering many of the UK’s major road networks including the M1, M6, M69 and M42. With an average response of just 13 minutes, between them they attend on average 6 missions a day. They save thousands of lives a year. It is a charity close to every rural communities’ heart.

Norton and Gaulby YFC member Victoria Barnes knows first-hand how vital their service is. She was rescued by the Air Ambulance after falling from her horse. Victoria said, “I was in a lot of pain after I fell but to hear the sound of the helicopter approaching in the distance was such a relief. I was so impressed with the speed of their response, their calmness and reassurance.”

The calendar costs just £5, plus p&p, from www.leicsyfc.org.uk or call 01664 434532. The Field has contributed to the cause.

Think whipping off clothing for a worthy cause is quintessentially British? Think again. Sydney's vet students, long-time upholders of charitable spirit down under, are back and better than ever

Free Range Vets naked charity calendar 2017
These cheeky Sydney students are keeping everything crossed in their bid to raise funds for Friends of the Hound Inc.

Budge over, British bottoms. The Aussies are back and as awesome as ever. The Free Range Vets naked charity calendar 2017 is the latest offering from those stellar Sydneysiders. And this year’s cohort of fourth year vets are cheekily championing Friends of the Hound Inc.

It’s never too late in the year to champion a cracking cause. Stand with Sydney’s students and donate to Friends of the Hound Inc by visiting their website.

FREE RANGE VETS NAKED CHARITY CALENDAR 2017

The Aussies are back and yet to disappoint. For over thirty years the University of Sydney’s fourth year veterinary students have been spreading the word down under on how to raise countryside funds Brit-style. And the Free Range Vets naked charity calendar 2017 had a tough act to follow. Both the After Hours naked charity calendar 2016 and the Under the Overalls naked charity calendar 2015 were sterling sell out successes. But these Aussies had everything crossed and their calendar has raised thousands. We expected nothing less.

Wrangling various animals, pieces of farm equipment and stray body parts may not be the usual day job of a vet student. But seventy of the game gels and chaps came together for Free Range Vets. Caring for critters 9-5 isn’t enough for these sporting students, they are willing to go sans garments for greyhounds. This year’s calendar is championing Friends of the Hound Inc.

Close to the students’ hearts, Friends of the Hound Inc. is a volunteer, not-for-profit rescue group. They are dedicated to saving greyhounds and finding homes for them as family pets and companions. Since 2003, Friends of the Hound Inc. has found homes for over 1300 greyhounds. They have also focused on promoting greyhounds as pets and raising further community awareness about their plight.

Calendar sales have been finalised. Free Range Vets raised an impressive $9345.52 AUD for Friends of the Hound Inc. Stand with Sydney’s students and donate today. The Field has contributed to the cause.

The new year brings a new crop of charitable fillies willing to disrobe for noble causes. Silks shed, these top lady point-to-point riders are raising money for the Injured Jockeys Fund

The Big Reveal naked charity calendar 2018
Top lady point-to-point riders are throwing their weight behind a new fundraising venture for The Injured Jockeys Fund.

A new year calls for a new calendar. Already pencilling in dates for 2018? It’s time to choose next year’s charitable cause. We expect the rowers to stick their oar in and young farmers to dispense with their overalls. But The Big Reveal naked charity calendar 2018 is brand new. Top lady point-to-point riders are going sans silks and saddling up. All in aid of a cracking cause, the Injured Jockeys Fund.

The Big Reveal calendar costs £10. To buy one call 07715 575605 or email davidseverywhere@outlook.com or leanda_tickle@hotmail.co.uk. It will be available at all of the early season point-to-point fixtures, and on Luxe 22’s stand at the Open Meeting, Cheltenham.

THE BIG REVEAL NAKED CHARITY CALENDAR 2018

The hunting crowd are long-time upholders of charitable spirit. The Old Berks, Readyfield Ladies and the Holcombe Hunt are just a handful of the discerning Dianas that have disrobed for cracking causes in years gone by. But for 2018, the Big Reveal is shifting (very) bare back riding from the hunting field to the point-to-point paddock.

It’s odds on for the top lady point-to-pont riders throwing their weight behind this fundraising venture. Brand new for 2018, The Big Reveal 2018 calendar is under starter’s orders and will feature traditional pointing scenes from paddock to picnic. This can only go well.

The venture did have a few false starts, though. Co-organiser and photographer David Simpson said, “We wanted to feature traditional pointing scenes, e.g. the pointing picnic, washing off, tacking up etc, but it wasn’t possible to use point-to-point courses (for many reasons). However, help was soon forthcoming and Ilona Barnett (Racecourse Manager) let us have the run of Stratford Racecourse. We also used Fern Farm in Adlestrop, the home of Claire Hart Equine – Claire features in the calendar.

“I have said that 50 years after the original ‘Summer of Love’, we have just had our very own Summer of Love! That’s because the girls were amazing and we haven’t stopped laughing. We have also had a few close shaves – both at Stratford and Fern Farm.

“Some of the ground staff at Stratford had an eyeful during our first shoot (one elderly chap in particular was delighted), and we over ran with another photo shoot. Not a problem you might think but a full choir turned up to use the grandstand for practice – while we still had 10 naked ladies in the parade ring!”

THE INJURED JOCKEYS FUND

The Injured Jockeys Fund was founded by John Oaksey, following the devastating accidents of Tim Brookshaw and Paddy Farrell in the 1964 Grand National. Both falls resulted in severe paralysis which immediately ended both their careers. Since then the Fund has helped over 1000 jockeys and their families and has paid out more than £18m in charitable assistance.

To donate, visit The Injured Jockeys Fund website.

The Injured Jockeys Fund helps any rider who holds, or has held, a Professional or Amateur licence issued by the British Horseracing Authority. This includes Apprentice, Conditional and Point-to-Point riders, and any spouse, partner, child or dependant they may have.

The Fund has a team of nine Almoners who liaise directly with beneficiaries on a support basis. There is a team of 30 volunteer visitors who keep in touch with old and isolated beneficiaries offering friendship and company.

The IJF also works closely with racing authorities and other organisations on many initiatives. This includes funding on course physios and medical services and research into improved riding protection equipment for jockeys.

In 2009 it opened its first fitness and rehabilitation centre, Oaksey House, in Lambourn. In 2015 opened its second, Jack Berry House, in Malton for northern based jockeys. A third, Peter O’Sullevan House, will open in Newmarket in 2018.

There's a new cohort of vet students willing to dispense with the white coats for a noble cause. The When Vets Undress naked charity calendar 2018 is raising funds for the student-run cause All4Paws

When Vets Undress naked charity calendar 2018
The When Vets Undress calendar is raising money for the student-run initiative All4Paws.

It’s time for a new calendar to grace the wall, so pencil in your 2018 dates while standing by a super cause. Veterinary students are infamously charitable. And this year’s Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies cohort is no different. With the help of a few furry friends and Edinburgh’s iconic scenery, these vets are championing All4Paws, with the When Vets Undress naked charity calendar 2018.

To find out more and buy the calendar, visit the When Vets Undress website.

WHEN VETS UNDRESS NAKED CHARITY CALENDAR 2018

Nursing poorly critters as a day job isn’t enough for the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies students. Their charitable spirit has seen them abandon their white coats for the student-run initative, All4Paws. And while we all know alpaca wool is warm, these vets are taking no chances. With Edinburgh’s stunning scenery and a few furry friends to help (dogs, cats, reptiles, ponies, sheep and Scottish highland cattle are just some of those featured), this super calendar is a New Year essential.

Chairman Gavin Gan said, “When Vets Undress aims to create a collection of photographs that are classy, artistic, and of quality. Photos featured in the calendar will encapsulate three things: beautiful veterinary students comfortable in their own skin, adorable animals comfortable in their own fur and scenic and iconic locations in and around Edinburgh.”

A naked charity calendar is tradition for some vet schools. The stellar students from the University of Sydney have been upholding charitable spirit downunder for over 30 years. Their latest instalment, Free Range Vets for 2017 was a sell-out success. And they raised nearly $10,000 AUD for Friends of the Hound Inc. And whipping off the white coats is a rite of passage for Glasgow’s vet students. Though a long way from Sydney, the charitable spirit is exactly the same. The Glasgow University Vet Students naked charity calendar 2017 was also raising money for student-run animal charities.

A FANTASTIC CAUSE: ALL4PAWS

And indeed, the cause supported by the When Vets Undress calendar is one close to the students’ hearts. All4Paws is run by the students, offering free veterinary care to the homeless and vulnerably housed. It follows the believe that all four-legged friends deserve access to basic healthcare. Free drop-in vet clinics are run once a week. And a larger clinic is held on the first Saturday of every month. Besides healthcare, the clinics also provide free basic supplies for these pets, including food, winter coats, leashes, and toys.

So do your bit for this fantastic cause. You can buy a calendar for just £15 and from the When Vets Undress website. The Field has contributed to the cause.

No-one knows how to have a ball and raise funds quite like the hunting community. The Worcestershire Hunt are the latest to bare all to keep the air ambulance flying

Worcestershire Hunt naked charity calendar 2018
The Worcestershire Hunt know how to have a ball while raising funds.

Country dwellers are long time upholders of charitable spirit. And none more so than the hunting fraternity. The brave souls at the Worcestershire Hunt are the latest to shed standard hunting kit to support the Air Ambulance’s noble work. From the annual BBQ to the team chase event, none were excused from revealing nearly all in the Worcestershire Hunt naked charity calendar 2018.

Calendars cost £10 plus £3 P&P. To purchase one, email Helen Millward at whscsec17@gmail.com.

WORCESTERSHIRE HUNT NAKED CHARITY CALENDAR 2018

Proper country sorts aren’t ones to shy away from stripping to support a cracking cause. The hunting community are a well established example of charitable joie de vivre. From The Old Berks Hunt to Readyfield Ladies, they are a game bunch. And this year’s Big Reveal calendar sees top lady point-to-pointers getting in on the action sans silks.

But it is the Worcestershire Hunt that are the latest to shed standard hunting kit. These charitable sorts are always on the look out for new fundraising opportunities. It’s no surprise that a calendar was soon mooted, but with one rule: no one was allowed to remain clothed.

The Supporters Club successfully persuaded riders, foot followers and even the photographers to strip. The result is a saucy collection of standard hunting scenes. Pictures include the annual hunt ball, the post-autumn hunting BBQ and a team chase. And even one brave photographer agreed to go in front of the lens and capture a hedge hopper, while revealing nearly all herself. “I’m not entirely sure how I got roped into that one…” she blushed.

CRACKING COUNTRY CAUSES

Proceeds from the calendar will be split between the hunt and the Air Ambulance. The latter is regularly the countryside’s charity of choice. Indeed, the LRFYFC, Around the Farm and The Old Berks Hunt are just some of the discerning Dianas that have raised funds to keep the Air Ambulance flying in years gone by.

Those that have spent enough time romping the countryside, whether on horseback or foot, will know of the crucial service it provides. Its quick response to emergencies in the field, where road ambulances simply cannot access, is essential.

Donating proceeds to the Air Ambulance was an easy choice for the Worcestershire Hunt Supporters Club to make. “The Air Ambulance have helped us several times,” said calendar photographer Rachel Maddox. “So this is a charity very close to many hearts within the Worcestershire Hunt community.”

Our rapid response time to trauma and medical emergency can be the difference between life and death. That’s where you come in.

We fly two regional air ambulances, across the counties of Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland. These two helicopters provide a rapid response to trauma and medical emergencies over an area of 3850 square miles covering many of the UK’s major road networks including the M1, M6, M69 and M42. With an average response of just 13 minutes, between them they attend on average 6 missions a day.

You may well have seen us in the skies above you. We’ve saved thousands of lives in our community. We need your help to save thousands more.

Thanks to your support we have now achieved an amazing 30,000 missions

Our lifesaving missions are funded by your generous donations. We do not receive any government funding.

There's no stopping this year's cohort of charitable veterinary students worldwide. Now the Aussies are getting in on the action, with the Vets Uncovered naked charity calendar 2018

Vets Uncovered naked charity calendar 2018
The latest cohort of veterinary students to whip off the white coats for a worth cause.

Previously it is the rowers to stick their oars in and young farmers who whip off the overalls. But this year veterinary students worldwide are forgetting their white coats for worthy causes. And if you were under the impression that charitable disrobing was a quintessentially British past time, it’s time for a rethink. Now the Aussies are in on the action. This year’s Vets Uncovered naked charity calendar 2018 is raising money for The Barrumbuttock Hay Runners.

Students at the James Cook University of Veterinary Science aren’t the only upholders of charitable joie de vivre down under. The University of Sydney veterinary students have been going sans kit for over thirty years. Last year’s Free Range Vets calendar raised an impressive $10,000 AUD for Friends of the Hound Inc.

VETS UNCOVERED NAKED CHARITY CALENDAR 2018

James Cook University of Veterinary Science’s graduating students aren’t barking mad. Swapping white coats for canine coverage has been a fixture for final year students since 2015. Proceeds are for celebrating the end of a gruelling five years of studying at the annual Graduation Ball. And a percentage goes towards a noble cause chosen by the students.

This year’s charity of choice is The Barrumbuttock Hay Runners. “The Hay Runners are a charity that collects donated hay and rural supplies and delivers them out to farms struggling through the ongoing drought here in Australia. The last hay run alone donated over $6 million AUD worth of donated hay. All the trucks drivers donate their time and vehicles to the cause,” said Chelsea Crake of Vets Uncovered.

In 2014 Brendan ‘Bumpa’ Farrell heard about a farmer in Bourke (NSW) that was struggling in the drought. He contacted the farmer and offered to bring him a truck load of hay to help him out. From that the Burrumbuttock Hay Runners was born. Since that date in 2014 they have completed 11 successful hay runs to help drought affected farmers all over NSW & QLD.

BHR is about mates helping mates in a time of need. Farmers impacted by drought often struggle to ask for help and many due to the financial strain of trying to keep the farm afloat also battle mental health issues.

Brendan and the BHR team know that the hay they deliver will only provide temporary relief but it’s about showing fellow Australian’s that someone cares about them.

All hay is donated from generous farmers all over Australia. The money fundraised and held in the Rotary Club bank account is used to fuel the trucks that transport the donated hay. No one in the Burrumbuttock Hay Run group are paid a wage, everyone is volunteers. This includes all the truck drivers who also donate the use of their trucks & machinery to load and unload the hay.

SHOW YOUR SUPPORT

Sales of the calendar have sadly closed, but it’s never too late in the year to champion a cracking cause. For more information on The Barrumbuttock Hay Runners, visit their website or stay up to date with their work via Facebook.

And plans are already afoot for the 2019 instalment of Vets Uncovered. So next year’s charity will be RuralAid Australia. They provide assistance to farms adversely affected by droughts, flooding, fires and other natural disasters. For more information about RuralAid Australia and the 2019 calendar, visit the Vets Uncovered website.

While rowers are known to stick their oars in, veterinary students old hands at shedding their overalls and the hunting community long relied upon to go bareback (and front), the girls behind the new Robbie’s Reveal calendar have a personal reason for taking a stand.

Join them and turn your back on brain cancer, by buying a calendar at THIS link.

ROBBIESRALLY NAKED CHARITY CALENDAR 2019

The calendar is raising funds for robbiesrally, a charity for children with brain tumours, founded by Robbie Keville and his family before he died in 2016. It was Robbie’s sister, Lara, who had the bright idea of putting together a calendar for the cause. And fortunately her friends didn’t need any persuading. The result? A calendar filled with a bevvy of bottoms and sporting sorts, all in aid of a super cause.

robbiesrally naked charity calendar 2019 is a real example of family and friends pulling together. You would expect no less from countryside dwellers. The calendar was photographed by the Keville’s close family friend, Tessa Smith. Tessa’s son, Alex, had a brain tumour and died in January 2018. A passionate musician, he collapsed with an aggressive brain tumour in December 2015. After two major operations, he stunned his doctors, friends and family by returning to work and playing in clubs around the world – inspiring many in his example to live life to the full, despite his illness.

The robbiesrally naked charity calendar 2019 is dedicated to Alex and to Robbie.

ROBBIESRALLY

Robbie Keville wanted to become a doctor after losing his mother Kate to cancer when he was 6 years old. It is an ambition his friends and family are sure he would have achieved, but Robbie contracted cancer himself just two years later: a brain tumour. After his initial surgery and treatment, he founded robbiesrally with his family. Robbie was at the first event before he died in 2016, aged 10, and saw for himself how the charity was helping others with brain tumours.

robbiesrally raises funds for children with brain tumours in the south of England. The charity exclusively funds the new paediatric outpatient rehabilitation service, Robbie’s Rehab, at Southampton Hospital. It is the only specialist outpatient rehab unit for children with brain tumours in the south of England which is free at the point of delivery. The service has transformed the quality and extent of recovery for many children.

Brave and Beautiful Calendar
Sheila Tidball appeared in the November month of the Brave and Beautiful calendar 2020, after being treated at the Mermaid Centre in Truro.

Country types are reliably charitiable sorts. Vet students are known to shed their overalls for noble causes and the hunting crowd have been keeping the air ambulance in flight for years by going bareback (and front). And now for 2020, a group of brave ladies with big hearts and a few battle scars have created the Cornwall & the Isles of Scilly 2020 Brave and Beautiful Calendar to raise money for the Mermaid Centre Truro. And one of the stars is Sheila Tiball, wife of the head gamekeeper at Caerhays Castle Estate.

Join the cause and donate today by buying a calendar at THIS link.

CORNWALL & THE ISLES OF SCILLY 2020 BRAVE AND BEAUTIFUL CALENDAR

The new Brave and Beautiful Calendar is an example of sporting sorts pulling together for a super cause. By connecting the islands with the mainland, the calendar aims to connect ladies in isolated and rural areas. Plus, the calendar aims to encourage ladies in Cornwall, the Isles of Scilly and beyond to stay breast cancer aware and attend routine mammograms.

With big hearts and a few battle scars, every lady featured in the calendar has been affected by breast cancer. Whether for diagnosis, treatment or family history and genetic testing, all have attended the Mermaid Centre in Truro. The proceeds from the calendar will go towards supporting the Mermaid Centre.

The Mermaid Centre treats over 12,000 women every year for breast cancer and it is the largest breast screening unit in the South West. It is also one of only a few units in the country offering oncoplastic surgery. The Mermaid Centre also monitors patients with a family history that are at a higher risk of developing breast cancer, especially in younger women.

SHEILA’S STORY

Sheila Tidball, wife of the head gamekeeper of Caerhays Castle Estate, appears in the November month of the calendar.

“Following a routine mammogram in September 2017 at the age of 58, I was called a week later for a further mammogram which led to 2 core biopsies at The Mermaid Centre Truro. 6 days later, on October 4th, I received the devastating news of Invasive Lobular Cancer, ” says Sheila. “A subsequent MRI scan confirmed the 2 small tumours, but also an indeterminate area and had to return for further core biopsies. Unfortunately, a third tumour!”

“Successful Therapeutic Mastopexy Surgery followed on November 16th and returning home 36 hours later. My husband Philip, was preparing for one of his biggest shoot days in 30 years at Caerhays Castle Estate the following day, and found it very hard trying to cope with the unknown.

“21 days later, I was back out on shoot days, obviously taking things very steady by just walking with the beaters to build up my strength. The support from guns, beaters and the all the team made a huge difference to my recovery mentally!

“December 1st appointment gave me the all clear, but I had to return to the Sunrise Centre the following February every day for radiotherapy. Deepest thanks to my wonderful surgeon Mr Iain Brown, Dr Jenny Williams, and all their team at The Mermaid Centre for their expertise and care.

“Just as I was receiving my 1 year check up, I had a message from one of my best and longest friends Liz, saying that her routine mammogram and core biopsies was also confirming the devastating news of breast cancer.

“Whilst receiving her radiotherapy treatment and trying to recuperate in February this year, she had an idea to raise awareness and to raise funds for The Mermaid Centre, by producing a Cornwall & The Isles of Scilly 2020 Brave and Beautiful Calendar, and wanted me to be her November month. I didn’t have to think about it!”

BRAVORALLY 2020

“The Bravo Rally 2020 is to follow in May 2020, where an all female affair will be driving up to 10 Minis from Cornwall to the Greek Islands, connecting ladies in isolated and rural communities together,” says Sheila. Visit www.bravorally2020.org for more information.

“I would like to thank my sponsors, Charles and Lizzie Williams, of Caerhays Castle Estate, Sportsman Game Feed and Andy Phillips of Game & Country SW Ltd.

“Special thanks to my wonderful family and of course my beautiful little grandchildren who helped me smile and forget the pain of major surgery. Our very busy lives helped me put my fears behind me and I enjoy living a healthy and happy life. I have just celebrated my 60th birthday in style!”

Each month features a successfully rehomed greyhound and their scantily clad owner, or one at the kennels and awaiting their forever home. Plus the calendar includes many fun facts about the breed. Did you know that greyhounds have 270 vision – and can see some of the back of their heads? Or that they often have a negative blood type, making them universal donors?

“I had the idea of the calendar last November after seeing how hard the kennels and volunteers works at raising much needed funding to care for the ex-racing greyhounds,” said Melanie Hyde. “But the kennels are an old concrete block with no heating, concrete floors and a leaking roof and funds raised are needed for food bills, vet bills, bedding – particularly warm bedding through our cold and damp winters and general daily care.”

“Some lucky hounds re-home quickly, but not all are so lucky and there are long stayers who require all their needs funding whilst living at Dunrunnin and money is needed to buy these hounds time, time to find their retirement family.”

Every single penny raised from the calendar will go towards Dunrunnin, and the glorious greyhounds residing there.

THE LADY FARMERS 2020 CALENDAR

Supporting our farmers has never been so frisky and fun. The Farmers Calendar and The Lady Farmers calendar are a well tested brace and stalwarts at raising funds the country way. And now The Lady Farmers 2020 calendar is back with its 20th edition. As ever, they are dispensing with the overalls for a cracking cause. This year, they are supporting Chernobyl Children’s Lifeline.

“2020 Farmers and Lady Farmers calendars are the twentieth edition and we are supporting Chernobyl Children’s Lifeline,” says photographer Nicola de Pulford. “I gave our local Chernobyl Children’s Lifeline £1500 last year. I hope the calendars will continue to make people smile especially in the farming community.”

The Chernobyl Children’s Lifeline was established in 1992, to help children and their families from Belarus and Ukraine affected by the April 1986 Chernobyl nuclear disaster. The charity works to bring children to the UK for recuperative breaks and provide healthcare and medicine for those too sick to travel. Nearly fifty thousand children and young adults have benefited from stays with host families since the charity was established.

THE WFYFC NAKED CHARITY CALENDAR

Young Farmers and Naked Charity calendars go together like the inevitable horse and carriage. And this WFYFC naked charity calendar is no exception.
Entitled ‘The Cream of the Crop’ this 2015 WFYFC naked charity calendar has been put together by the Wiltshire Federation of Young Farmers to celebrate their 80th anniversary. Out of the 682 Young Farmers Clubs with over 20 000 members aged between 10 and 26 years old, eight of them are in Wiltshire: Calne, Chippenham, Devizes, Malmesbury, Melksham, Purton & Cricklade, Trowbridge and Salisbury.
“We have all of the clubs in the County participating with current members (well, the over 18’s of course!)” says Ann Maidment, Wiltshire County Chairman. “We wanted to show the variety Young Farmers offers, but in a way that would make an impact for the 80th Year”.
The Wiltshire Federation of Young Farmers have certainly hit the mark. Members from all of the county clubs have participated in the calendar, in various agricultural poses. We particularly like the brave souls who bared bottoms to perch on a bale. Bravo!
The calendar is in aid of Wiltshire Air Ambulance, who attend between two and three life saving missions every day. The air ambulance service is essential to any sporting person and should be supported wherever possible. They have saved many lives on the hunting field, and where sport takes one to inaccessible and remote locations. Buying the WFYFC’s naked charity calendar is an excellent and photogenic way of doing it.
Calendars are available from the Wiltshire Federation of Young Farmers, priced £10 + P&P.
If you know of any suitably rustic naked charity calendars that deserve a place in The Field then do please contact us. We are always delighted to help a charitable cause. Each month we feature a naked charity calendar in the news pages of the magazine. Subscribe to The Field before Christmas and receive a fantastic 38% saving, a year’s subscription for only £17.99.

The Holcombe Hunt naked charity calendar 2015 has earned a spot on The Field’s naked charity calendars 2015 list.  A jolly romp through various hunting scenes the Holcombe Hunt naked charity calendar is packed with hunting gels and chaps who like nothing better than a spot of bare back riding, especially when the cause is a charitable one. Taking it in their stride. The Readyfield Ladies stripped off in memory of Caroline Harvey, who died after a hunting accident.

The Readyfield Ladies naked charity calendar 2015 was put together in memory of equestrian Caroline Harvey. Caroline died after a hunting accident in March 2014, and her fellow Dianas decided raising money for the Derbshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance (DLRAA) which took her to hospital was most appropriate.

The DLRAA attended the scene of the accident and with out their fantastics skills and service, Carolines family would not have had the last few precious days to say their goodbyes.

READYFIELD LADIES NAKED CHARITY CALENDAR 2015

In true hunting girls style it was a naked charity calendar that came to the fore. First a calendar full of country pursuits was mooted, but after a glass of port the naked twist came arrived. It was likely to raise most funds, and be the most fun. Various friends and girls with gusto were photographed for the Readyfield Ladies naked charity calendar by Lauren Barham.

Both the Around the Farm naked charity calendar and the WFYFC naked charity calendar 2015 also raised money for the Air Ambulance. It is a vital service for any fieldsports and one we should all support.

More information on the Readyfield Ladies naked charity calendar is available from the Readyfield calendar website.

Her mother Ruth, of Eagles Drive, Melton Mowbray, said:

“She was such a lovely person, she lived life to the full. We are very proud of her. She’s gone now, but she was such a wonderful person when she was here.

“We have had a letter telling us which organs were donated. We take some comfort from that.

“We would never have wanted to stop her doing what she loved, she was a very determined person and she loved her sport.”

“It was a tragic accident and we didn’t want to lose her, but she was doing what she loved. She was very well loved and an inspiration to a lot of people.

“Without the air ambulance we wouldn’t have had the time we did with her which is why we raising money for them.

Orkeny unseen naked chaity calendar 2015
Baa-ing all for a good cause, raising money for Friends of the neuro ward - Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

The Orkney Unseen naked charity calendar 2015 has put the archipelago, just off the north coast of Scotland, in the spotlight. The Orkney inhabitants have laid bare the inner Islander, stripping off to raise money for the neuro ward at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Lambs firmly clasped to bosoms.

The Field is keen to support good causes, and country dwellers (and islanders) seem particularly happy to disrobe at the mention of charity. Just remember the hunting hotties from the Holcombe Hunt naked charity calendar, shooting sirens in the Around the Farm naked charity calendar and the jolly young farmers of the WFYFC naked charity calendar

This time farmers, farmers’ wives, shooters and riders, as well as the incredible Orkney scenery have a part in the jolly Orkeny Unseen naked charity calendar.

Caroline Kritchlow’s husband suffered an enormous brain tumour 18 months ago, and found it challengeing living in Orkney and travelling to Aberdeen for hospital appointments and treatments.

Following his successful operation and aftercare, we wanted to support the Neuro Ward at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and consequently started a charity called Friends of the Neuro Ward – ARI.  In just over a year, we have raised over £50,000 which will be spent making life more comfortable on the ward for both patients and relatives who are going through a traumatic time in their lives. We aim to refurbish the ward, upgrading 2 wetrooms, provide a respite room for those travelling from the Northern Isles and eventually provide a life-saving intra-operative MRI scanner which costs £1 million!!

Part of the fundraising for the Friends of the Neuro Ward – ARI, was the fabulous Orkney Unseen naked charity calendar 2015. To purchase an Orkney Unseen naked charity calendar please contact Caroline Kritchlow. Calendars cost £5 plus £2 post and packaging. Help the charity on their way to their £1 million goal.

Bare All 4 Bolty naked charity calendar 2015

The Bare All 4 Bolty calendar was put together in memory of a corageous 16 year old, Alex Bolt.

Naked charity calendar 2015. Bare all 4 Bolty
Baring all for a very good cause. All you need is a forest clearing.

The Bare All 4 Bolty naked charity calendar 2015 does exactly what it says on the tin. 18 undaunted ladies bared all to raise vital funds for brain tumour research, in the name of Alex Bolt, who lost his fight at the age of 16 years old.

The Bare All 4 Bolty calendar was the inspiration of Alex’s mother, Jeanette Bolt. She deftly persuaded her friends and family to strip down to birthday suits in a series of fetching images. With an abundance of bottoms and bosoms the calendar shows a series of fillies in fine fettle. But like the Holcombe Hunt naked charity calendar, the Orkney Unseen naked charity calendar and the Readyfield Ladies naked charity calendar, this calendar is serious about one thing. Raising money for a very good cause.

And raising money for a good cause seems to have one thing in common. Lose the coverings, find a field and recline with unabashed style. Spot on.

The 18 brave bare-ers are raising vital funds for brain tumour research. Jeannette Bolt who sadly lost her 16 year old son, Alex, to this devastating disease set up the Alex Bolt Fund in his memory.

She said: “I am very proud of all the models for being so courageous and for their support in helping raise awareness and money for research so other families do not have to go through what we have.”

The calendar was shot at Lythe Hill Hotel, Restaurant and Spa by the excellent photographer, Sally Wright. Wright was adept at persuading the ladies to leave their inhibitions at the door. And the result was a cracking calendar.

The Bare All 4 Bolty naked charity calendar costs £15. It can be purchased from Bolty Fighting Tumours. But we would encourage anyone who has enjoyed the image to donate to the fund.

The Field has contributed to the cause.

HI LOST MY CLOTHES NAKED CHARITY CALENDAR 2015

The latest Hi Lost My Clothes naked charity calendar is the third incarnation. It is navailable from Hi Lost My Clothes and costs £10 plus £2.50 p&p. The charity the calendar supports is Hounds for Heroes, a remarkable organisation that helps wounded soldiers by providing assistance dogs to those with life changing injuries.

The Hilostmyclothes Charity Calendar was first created in 2012 when a group of friends met in a field to strip off for a good cause. The calendar has raised thousands of pounds for Hounds for Heroes.

Each year we ask a different photographer, with expertise in field sports photography, to use their skills and vision to provide their interpretation of the calendar for us. The models, which vary each year, are all involved in field sports and give their time and bodies freely!

The money raised for Hounds for Heroes helps assist our 900,000 wounded men and women from both the UK Armed Forces and Emergency Services who have sustained life changing injuries. This is achieved by supporting the provision of assistance dogs to enhance the quality of life, both mentally and physically, of those who find themselves with a future they never expected.

The Hi Lost My Clothes naked charity calendar features bonny sporting images and is a great way to support a good cause. And if you feel like stripping in a field for charity…just get in touch with them.
